Machine Operator

Standby Screw Machine Products in Berea, OH is seeking a full-time Machine Operator for the day shift. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This position is vital to our organization, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and possesses a strong work ethic. On-site training will be provided to help you succeed in this role. As a Machine Operator, you will learn to independently run machines according to specifications. You will operate multiple machines simultaneously, including centerless grind machines, robotic machines, milling machines, and deburring stations to produce parts or products. Additionally, you will manage and maintain the robotic functions, monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines. Quality assurance is also a key responsibility, as you will inspect finished products to ensure they meet our standards. To excel in this position, you should have mechanical knowledge and aptitude, experience with tooling and machining processes, and the ability to handle materials and operate machinery safely. Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations is essential, and a readiness to learn a new trade is highly valued. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals with a strong attention to detail and a passion for operating machinery to apply.
