About The Position

The Machine Operator’s primary responsibility is to produce high quality blow molded plastic parts to meet customer specifications, in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be fluent in English in this position so as to be able to read policy, and procedure and communicate as needed.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, clearly and concisely.
• Builds and maintains customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization.
• Adheres to all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards and practices.
• Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables.
• Uses tools, machines, and vehicles to transport goods or people, or to create work products.

Responsibilities

• Produce and assemble high quality blow molded parts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Competently adhere to part specific work instructions, standard work and non-standard work.
• Monitor and maintain work cell and machinery to ensure proper function and notify Supervision of deviations when necessary.
• Effectively communicate production status to counterparts as needed.
