About The Position
Seeking sharp, mechanically-minded machine operators to run screw press machine. Responsibilities Operate and monitor industrial screw press machine to dewater organic waste. Assist with cleaning, rinsing, and flushing equipment to ensure proper function Support operation of compactors, pumps, and conveyors Help with loading/unloading materials and keeping work areas clean Tweak pressure and settings to ensure maximum efficiency Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues fast.
Requirements
- Experience with screw press machines, extruders, filter presses, or centrifuges.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs., work on your feet, and bend/stoop
- Comfortable in wet, noisy, smelly, and fast-paced environments
- Team player with good communication and attention to detail
- Able to work outdoors
- Must be able to work overtime
- Must be able to work weekends bi-weekly
- We participate in E-Verify
- Must be able to complete drug and background
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Familiarity with pumps or water systems a plus
