WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in helping us produce precision parts that meet exact specifications and production timelines. Responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • 2+ years of machining experience preferred
  • Experience operating mills and/or lathes in a production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
  • Experience working with close tolerances
  • Ability to run multiple machines
  • Flexibility to manage varying changeover rates
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of raw materials, speeds, and feeds for efficient machine operation
  • Ability to recognize changes in part characteristics
  • Ability to detect changes in machine sounds and overall operation
  • Strong analytical, adaptable, and dependable mindset
  • Reliability and a solid work ethic are required

Responsibilities

  • Learning and applying advanced CNC operation techniques
  • Making machine adjustments to support consistent, in-spec part production
  • Creating tooling offsets and adjustments to maintain close tolerances
  • Setting tools, calibrating, and operating CNC machines and lathes
  • Performing turning, drilling, boring, threading, tapping, and milling operations
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Identifying malfunctions and making corrections when needed
  • Working closely with team members to support production goals and share machining knowledge
