About The Position

Safetec of America, Inc. has been a trusted source of infection control, first-aid, and compliance products for over 30 years. We are a local, family-owned OTC pharmaceutical manufacturing company with a reputation for retaining employees, as we treat them like family. We are seeking a full-time 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join our expanding team! 1st Shift: Tuesday - Friday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Competitive pay with excellent benefits, including generous paid time off.

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work is a must
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull using a pallet jack
• Ability to reach and bend frequently
• Ability to go up and down ladders
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Mechanical ability
• Ability to work well with others

Responsibilities

• Ability to detect equipment malfunctions or misalignments visually and by listening to the machine's noise
• Operating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining machines
• Communicate quality, material, and production issues to the supervisor
• Keep the area clean and organized at all times
