About The Position

Seeking an experienced Bruck Perforating Press Operator to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot a high-speed perforating press in a metal fabrication environment. This is a hands-on, non–entry-level role requiring full machine ownership, precision setup, and strong troubleshooting ability.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of industrial press or machine operation experience
• Proven ability to independently set up and troubleshoot equipment
• Experience maintaining tight dimensional tolerances
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate a Bruck perforating press
• Perform complete machine setups, changeovers, and first-piece validation
• Adjust machine parameters (feed rates, stroke settings, controls)
• Diagnose and correct quality and runability issues (alignment, burrs, tool wear, material distortion)
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances
• Maintain production efficiency during both long runs and short custom orders
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor mechanical adjustments
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout
