About The Position

This position will operate the MBO/Folder finishing line equipment used in the production of direct mail materials. This role will ensure efficient, high-quality output in a fast-paced production environment. This position requires strong technical ability, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail to support consistent production flow and meet customer deadlines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, and operate MBO folding machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
  • Perform machine changeovers and adjustments for various paper sizes, folds, and job types.
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout each run, making mechanical or control adjustments as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Complete quality checks to ensure folded materials meet required standards and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
  • Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other production team members to meet daily goals.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
