The Role You will operate state-of-the-art plastic extrusion equipment to produce high-quality specialty films. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while contributing to sustainable packaging solutions that make a real difference. Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 schedule Work: Monday & Tuesday - Off: Wednesday & Thursday - Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday Off: Monday & Tuesday - Work: Wednesday & Thursday - Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 12-hour static shifts (Nights - 7:00pm - 7:00am) (Days - 7:00am - 7:00pm) Rotational Shift: Alternates between Day Shift (7:00am-7:00pm) and Night Shift (7:00pm-7:00am) hours every 4 weeks
Requirements
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
Nice To Haves
- 2-5 years of plastic extrusion experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Previous manufacturing experience
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plastic extrusion production lines
- Set up machines according to work order specifications
- Inspect products for quality compliance and manage scrap processes
- Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks
- Work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Collaborate with team members during shift changeovers
