About The Position
A Machine Operator is a resilient and team-minded individual responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating various types of machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality. This shift runs from 2:00pm - 10:30pm.
Requirements
- Understanding of basic math including fractions.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
- Proficiency with tape measures.
- Experience in setting up and operating machinery used in manufacturing.
Nice To Haves
- Prior relevant experience in a similar role.
- Forklift certification.
- Overhead crane experience.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and calibrating manufacturing equipment.
- Operating machine equipment to complete production tasks efficiently.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure parts or materials meet required standards.
- Evaluating machine efficiency and identifying areas of improvement.
- Adhering to all safety rules, best practices, and company standards.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
