About The Position

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Mfg, currently has an opening for a
2nd Shift Machine Operator at our Machine Shop in Enterprise, KS.

This position works Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., plus overtime on Fridays, as required.

Nice To Haves

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience with Machine Shop manual equipment (engine lathe, knee mill, drill press, saw)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Working knowledge of CNC equipment
• Must be able to use precision measuring equipment to ensure parts are manufactured within tolerance
• Ability to accurately complete and maintain paperwork

Responsibilities

• Operation of saw, manual equipment and CNC equipment
• Ability to operate 2 machines at the same time
• Set up and production of parts within set tolerances
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment
