About The Position

As a Machine Operator at our Red Oak PowerFrame® facility, you will operate and maintain precision manufacturing equipment used in grid production. Key responsibilities include: Operate casting, rolling mill, press, and lead pot equipment to produce PowerFrame® grids Monitor key parameters such as temperature, flow, speed, and product dimensions Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and product changeovers Inspect equipment and parts for quality, ensuring conformance to specifications Assist maintenance with equipment PMs, repairs, and troubleshooting Handle lead safely, following all environmental and safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, hazardous materials handling) Train and support new operators to ensure safe, efficient performance Document production data and quality checks accurately

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred not required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
  • Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirator when applicable
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
