As we navigate a period of expansion and strategic initiatives, we are seeking a machine operator to join our team and contribute to the company's success. The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating, monitoring, and maintaining assigned production equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality food manufacturing. This role plays a critical part in meeting production goals while adhering to all food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.

Requirements

  • Prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, food manufacturing experience a plus
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to complete required documentation and production records
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a production environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and temperature variations
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Set up equipment and adjust machine settings as needed
  • Monitor equipment performance and product quality throughout the production process
  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
  • Perform routine cleaning of equipment and work areas
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to supervision
  • Complete required production, quality, and safety documentation accurately and timely
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety guidelines, and HACCP requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Work collaboratively with production, quality control, sanitation, and maintenance teams
  • Comply with all company policies, OSHA requirements, and safety procedures
