About The Position

In this function, you will: Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses. Troubleshoot various machinery problems. Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders. QC and document all parts run on machines. Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system. Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production. Keep work areas clean and safe. Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Reno, NV (50 miles) will be considered for this position. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Six (6) months + of experience with forming or bending machines. Six (6) months + of experience reading drawings or blueprints. Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools. Position Success Criteria: Ability to operate machinery and presses safely. Ability to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings. Ability to identify different gauges and types of raw material. Ability to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers. Ability to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision. Ability to stand on feet continuously during working shift. Ability to lift and bend on a continuous basis Ability to regularly lift 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
