About The Position

The Nested Router Machine Operator is responsible for operating assigned machinery, ensuring efficient and reliable performance. This role involves maintaining optimal machine operation, performing routine maintenance, and completing stack lists as required.

Requirements

  • No required education or job experience.
  • Ability to learn and retain on the job training.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read measurement tools such as a tape measure.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions in English.
  • Ability to meet quality standards - strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to consistently meet/exceed production quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Daily operation of the Nested Router Machine Operator.
  • Organize and complete daily work following the schedule.
  • Set up and operate the machine in accordance to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Read and interpret production paperwork to select, position, and secure machine.
  • Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specification, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Careful inspection of the product.
  • Perform minor routine machine maintenance.
  • Operate fork lift. (Training provided, as needed).
  • Housekeeping; sweep and pick up debris over, around, and under machine area.
  • Follow all safety rules and contribute to a safe work environment.
  • Participate and contribute to a “Team” environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
