Machine Operator - Day Shift
About The Position

As a Machine Operator, you'll play a vital role in manufacturing high-quality monofilament fibers within our production environment. You'll work alongside a dedicated team to ensure safe, efficient production while meeting the highest quality standards. This position is available on our 2A Day Shift: 2A Shift: Wednesday, 1:00pm - 7:00pm, and Thursday - Saturday, 7:00am - 7:00pm Starting pay: $24.25 per hour
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred; familiarity with Lean Sigma concepts is a plus.
- Skills: Ability to read, write, and follow instructions, strong attention to detail, and basic math proficiency.
- Dependability: A strong sense of reliability, including excellent attendance and punctuality
- Physical Requirements: Capability to lift up to 55 pounds, perform bending and stooping, and stand for up to 12 hours in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities
- Operate extrusion machinery to manufacture high-quality monofilament fibers according to production orders and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with your team to maintain efficient, high-quality production processes.
- Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and changeovers as needed.
- Ensure proper winding of filament on spools, maintaining consistent tension.
- Package finished products and prepare materials for upcoming production cycles.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and complete machine-related charts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
