This position starts at $ 22.80 /HR (with $1/HR shift premium for 3rd shift positions) Job Description: These positions are responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of the product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line and sanitizing equipment. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels. These positions could work in any department of this meat processing facility. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs The Team Member will stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas The Team Member will stand 8-10 hours on hard floors The Team Member will perform repetitive motions as required in many areas The Team Member will work in a cold, damp environment The Team Member will work on slippery walking surfaces

Requirements

Must have 3 months work experience listed on application (can be multiple employers but must add up to 3 months)
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

Nice To Haves

Prefer 3 month of Machine Operator Experience
Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
RF Scanner experience preferred
