This role ensures that orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Operator will initiate operations in accordance with customer requirements and monitor performance to optimize production processes.

Requirements

  • GED/High School Diploma
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other team members
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience operating a stand-up, sit-down, or extendable forklift
  • Proficiency level using computers and handheld terminal devices
  • 1 year experience processing warehouse inventory (including but not limited to accuracy and efficiency in order picking, order packing, and counting inventory quantities)
  • SAP experience preferred
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail to prevent errors in orders
  • Must have physical stamina to work in industrial production setting with repetitive movement up to 8 hours at a time.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling, and reaching for extended periods.
  • Continuous periods of walking, sitting, and standing
  • Must be able to lift and/or move heavy objects up to 50lbs unassisted, and perform physical tasks associated with the role

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for locating and moving products for storage or shipment using a forklift, reach truck, or tow motor
  • Ensure all materials are properly tagged and placed in appropriate designated area
  • Responsible for performing inventory transactions and cycle counts using SAP
  • Confirming and returning parts to their appropriate location using handheld devices (PDAs)
  • Performing general housekeeping to ensure work area is kept clean and organized
  • Complying with all safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment
  • Assisting and training new team members on the operation process and equipment usage
