Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Light Industrial Assignment to Hire Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Cudahy, WI Pay: $16 on 1st shift, $16.50 on 2nd shift. Shifts Available: First shift with two schedule options: four ten hour days or five eight hour days Second shift full time Job Duties: Set up, operate, and monitor machines to produce parts or products according to specifications Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards Identify and troubleshoot issues with machines and make adjustments or contact maintenance when needed Follow production cards or work orders to complete tasks accurately Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment using tools such as water hoses and power sprayers Communicate with supervisors and team members about issues or improvements Assist with loading and unloading materials or products Perform basic maintenance on machinery and report issues to the appropriate personnel
Requirements
- Previous machine operator experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Comfortable standing for most of the shift
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds occasionally
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team
