About The Position
Abbeville Fiber is seeking Machine Operators. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package. Located in the former West Point Stevens textile plant, Abbeville Fiber has the capacity to produce 250,000 feet of finished wood per day. Responsibilities
- Load and unload products and materials
- Monitor machines to ensure the continued movement of lumber and materials through the plant
- Operate equipment that feeds lumber and materials through the sawmill
- Perform clean-up duties daily around machines
- Other duties as assigned
