About The Position

Operators are responsible for setting up, running, inspecting and maintaining a variety of machine such as a die cutter, rotary press, digital press and folding glueing machines. Placement for operators is determined by skillset and availability. Pay Rate: $27-33/hr depending on department Work Hours: Days & Nights Available! 3-2-2-3 Schedule You will work a straight shift of 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM OR 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Requirements

  • Safety-sensitive position: ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel and bend over for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly if necessary
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed based on business needs
  • Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
  • Ability to effectively work in teams
  • Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
  • Ability to read a tape measure/ruler
  • Ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high efficiency and meet established production rates while operating assigned equipment.
  • Collaborate with peers and other departments to improve product quality and overall performance.
  • Contribute to housekeeping efforts to keep the assigned area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Understand and properly use department communication tools, schedules, time/attendance systems, and job‑reporting requirements.
  • Feed printed, labeled, or plain corrugated sheets into the machine as required.
  • Set up the machine center for production runs, ensuring configurations meet job specifications.
  • Monitor incoming stock and finished die‑cut product to ensure compliance with Menasha and customer quality standards, including color accuracy.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to cutting boards as needed.
  • Scan WIP (Work‑In‑Process) units and accurately enter production data into the system.
  • Complete die board change‑ups safely and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisors.
