Flexco, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a Machine/Punch Press Operator to work second shift (2:15 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.) in our air-conditioned facility. The chosen candidate would be responsible for running a stamping press, pin cutter, wire forming machine and troubleshooting daily challenges. 2nd shift Machine/Punch Press Operators at Flexco typically start at $26.00/hour or more, depending on experience. Requirements

  • A high school diploma.
  • A minimum of 1 year related manufacturing experience with machine operation.
  • Experience troubleshooting common machining challenges.
  • Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Set up automatic punch presses
  • Install and align progressive die sets to perform a variety of blanking, forming, piercing, and trimming operations.
  • Set up automatic staple maker machine, change tooling, make required adjustments, clean and lubricate equipment.
  • Program automated equipment to cut pins to various sizes and lengths to meet order specifications.
  • Monitor equipment operation and quality of products, inspect parts after each setup, periodically pull samples, test and inspect samples, notify supervisor of quality problems, and perform SPC procedures as required.
  • Count and pack products such as pins, staples, washers, and lacing cartons as specified.
  • Working on your feet all day
