2nd Shift Hours: 3:00pm-11:00pm SUMMARY: The Machine Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot a variety of assigned machines and will also be responsible for inspecting components to specifications. Operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

  • Effectively operate a variety of machines and maintain quality of packaging within assigned Center of Excellence.
  • Maintain a constant vigilance to the quality of the packaging process and reports issues when they arise in a timely manner to the mechanic
  • Clears jams, changes labels, replaces ribbons, films, tape, neck band material, cotton and adjusts accordingly.
  • Records necessary date as required on all machine logs, downtime reports, and material yield logs.
  • Checks quality Lot# Exp Date of packages in assigned room and assists with equipment challenges.
  • Reads and understands Human Machine Interface screens and alarms.
  • Communicate with Line Leader and Material Handlers to ensure all production components are never in shortage.
  • Maintains cleanliness of equipment and work area.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with spreadsheets, word processing and database.
  • Previous employment in a cGMP compliant facility and in a pick & pack operations is preferred along with inventory control or quality control.
