Requirements

2+ years of experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools, and machines
Ability to proficiently set up and use measuring equipment including CMM, CAD-CAM, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Calipers, Profilometers, etc.
Expert in reading and interpreting blueprints and design sketches
Ability to create and maintain updated work processes related to machining
Familiar with warehouse, manufacturing, or production planning environments
Ability to train on 1st shift preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert on customer manufacturing specifications to create machine programming
Set up, troubleshoot, and operate machinery such as EDMs, mills, grinders, or VTLs according to strict tolerances.
Examine and measure completed units, identifying defects and ensuring adherence to specifications; adjust machine controls to resolve production errors
Exercise strong problem-solving ability for the inspection and repair of machinery
Other duties as assigned
