About The Position

Experienced Specialist within the Manufacturing Machine Operations job family. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Complexity & Problem Solving: Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Collaboration & Interaction: Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments. Experienced Specialist (Hourly)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in cold heading, pointing, and/or threading preferred.
  • Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices such as micrometers, scales, rulers, depth gauges and calipers.
  • Ability to interpret safety instructions, job orders, blueprints, quality specifications, and other related documents.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong math and mechanical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to contribute as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work in high noise areas and wear appropriate hearing protection devices.
  • Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch.
  • Ability to use hard tined rake to move/break apart parts frequently.
  • The position requires the ability to regularly stand.
  • The position requires good close vision and depth perception skills.
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to complete all essential job functions listed in the position responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
