About The Position

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for food safety and quality assurance by monitoring and maintaining line speed and efficiency, tracking inventory levels, and communicating consistently across the Sandwich Bros Bakery department. You will be accountable for all essential duties within the bakery supply areas while following all Occupational Safety and Health Administration and plant safety requirements.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English without the use of a translator
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and maintaining a Conagra Brands email account
  • Knowledge of and adherence to standard operating procedures, sanitation standard operating procedures, and good manufacturing practices
  • Skill in interpreting written, oral, diagram, and schedule‑based instructions

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently in alignment with company safety procedures and expected behaviors
  • Complete production, quality, downtime, and other required documentation and enter data into designated computer systems
  • Perform quality and weight checks, monitor line speeds, and make necessary adjustments
  • Train and support new team members
  • Complete Master Sanitation Schedule duties as assigned
  • Coordinate department start‑ups, shutdowns, cleaning activities, and schedules
  • Actively support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes
  • Provide feedback related to team member performance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Explain product flow from the bakery through the warehouse
  • Participate in improvement teams such as Kaizen and Total Productive Maintenance
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper material rotation for traceability
  • Track bakery ingredients and enter accurate data into appropriate systems
  • Operate and troubleshoot bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, and sheeters
  • Obtain supplies and raw materials as needed
  • Perform wet and dry cleaning, foaming, and sanitizing of all equipment
  • Identify acceptable pita product characteristics
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance activities including troubleshooting fault indicators, assisting maintenance technicians, lubrication, belt adjustments, thermometer calibration, pan repair, press cleaning and repair, and basic electrical processes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor, including overtime as required
