Observes threading of strip through mill processes and progressively adjusts tooling and associated mechanicals as required with minimal scrap/waste. Adherence to safety, housekeeping, and quality standards as they relate to the production and company's objective is required. Produce quality product to meet output cost standards. If output cost standards not achieved, provide root causes of mill process inefficiency to plant manager for corrective action. This position is responsible for maintaining production goals through productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste. Receives instructions and assignments from plant supervision as required. Performs and records all QA check measurements required by the Quality Manual on product being produced. Records production and keeps work area clean. Performs other related work as directed by plant supervision. The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers. Duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the PTC Quality Management System and its policies, procedures, and work instructions as applicable to the job or function being performed. Pay Rate Starting rate $20.00/hr.
