About The Position

Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Machine Operators for a reputable gun manufacturing warehouse in Smyrna! Qualifications for Machine Operators: After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications: No experience is required as on the job training is provided. Experience with hand tools is required. Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check. Assignment Duties for Machine Operators: Responsible for the daily production of surface finishing of slides and barrels following the standard operating procedures (working instructions) to achieve quality and production goals. Utilizes hand-tools such as files and de-burring tools to achieve set specifications. Performs quality inspections making visual checks to assure compliance with specifications; examines parts for surface defects and damage. Performs quality control using custom measuring equipment. Operates manual and semiautomatic machines. Maintains work station by cleaning equipment and work area with appropriate materials. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Shift Details: Monday-Friday - 6:00AM-2:00PM Pay Rate : $17.72/hour Benefits : Full time. Weekly pay via Direct Deposit or ATM Card. Paid vacations and holidays. Health, vision, and dental insurance.
