Position Summary Our Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating and monitoring processing equipment to support daily production goals within PADNOS recycling operations. This role ensures equipment reliability, maintains quality standards, and upholds a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency. Schedule Monday - Friday, weekends as needed. 10:00am - 8:00pm

Requirements

Equipment operation and preventative maintenance knowledge (conveyors, pulleys, etc)
Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Accuracy in operation and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Loader operators experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform equipment start-up and shut-down procedures in alignment with company safety standards
Control and adjust the DFR (Downstream Feed Rate) and overall machine settings to maintain optimal performance, quality, and efficiency
Monitor camera systems and machine performance to ensure proper material flow and quickly identify and address operational issues
Conduct routine equipment checks to ensure proper functionality and operational readiness
Communicate equipment or safety concerns promptly to leadership or maintenance teams
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment, including end-of-shift housekeeping
Participate in cross-training across operational areas to support team productivity and business needs
