About The Position

Machine Operator 1st and 2nd shift available (4-day work week/weekends off) 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00 pm - 3:30 am ($1.25/hour Shift differential) Starting wage: $18.50 Overall Goal of Position Produce product by keeping packaging machines working efficiently/effectively. Job Summary Primary responsibilities of a Machine Operator include properly operate production equipment to ensure continuous product flow, supporting quality assurance activities, and timely completion of all required production documentation. What will you do? Operate vertical form or horizontal fill equipment with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) electronics. Take action necessary to insure continuous product flow. Assist with troubleshooting system problems. Complete required QA and production reports. Communicate clearly with others in processing and support positions. Safely operate pallet jack to move materials. Perform area-wide and system cleaning (5s) to meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) expectations. Adhere to all safety, operating, Safe Quality Food (SQF), and GMP procedures/policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior Machine Operator experience.
