About The Position

Maintaining a zero-incident safety culture and participating in all safety programs. Ensuring consistent production excellence on wide or narrow cast extrusion film lines. Supporting the team to meet or exceed key performance metrics: safety, quality, productivity, service, and scrap. Operate extrusion film lines and rewind/slitting converting equipment after completing training. Prepare and set up machines for production, including blenders, work order review, and adjustments. Maintain product specifications by monitoring operations, inspecting film, and troubleshooting issues. Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs to ensure equipment reliability. Keep work areas organized and clean, following housekeeping audits and safety protocols. Document and communicate production activities, irregularities, and continuing needs via logs. Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across shifts. 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred; film extrusion experience is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Commitment to teamwork, accountability, and respect in a dynamic production environment. Manufacturing environment requiring PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe shoes. Night shift schedule with occasional production variations. Hands-on role supporting a high-performing team in a fast-paced setting.
