JOB DETAILS Base pay starts at $18.50 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential 2nd Shift: Starts at 6:00PM, hours may vary depending on operations The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment and nail guns
  • Able to use of measuring gauges
  • Able to read a tape measure
  • Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience a plus / Must be trainable on forklift
  • Crane experience a plus / Must be trainable on crane

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations
  • Knowledge of production techniques and have the ability to produce quality-building parts
  • Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation
  • Mark part number, order number, number of pieces on parts. Attach identification tags as required for customer to have the ability to locate correct parts
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts
  • Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area
  • Standing and walking 8-12 hrs. every day
  • Repetitive material handling. Some in awkward body positioning.
  • Repetitive climbing on and off of equipment and ladders
  • Varying and extreme working conditions inside and outside (Hot, Cold, Rain, Shine)
