About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Hot Press Machine Operator to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating hot press equipment, monitoring product quality, and ensuring all products meet established standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and experience in a fast-paced production setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and write in English or Spanish
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands for operating equipment and handling materials
• Occasional bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to lift: Up to 10 lbs regularly, Up to 25 lbs occasionally

Nice To Haves

• Previous machine operator, production, or quality control experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor hot press and molding machines during production
• Ensure equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and ready for each shift
• Perform quality inspections on products, removing defective or non-conforming items
• Identify and report quality issues or machine concerns to supervisors
• Clear machine jams and product blockages following safety procedures
• Follow proper machine start-up, shutdown, and reset procedures
• Monitor equipment performance and assist with basic troubleshooting
• Inspect and maintain quality systems (including sprayers and production components)
• Assist with product stacking, packaging, and material handling
• Support operation of additional equipment (such as packaging machines) as needed
• Complete required quality checks and documentation
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SQF, and safety standards
• Assist team members and support overall production goals
