About The Position

This position is for a Machine Operator on the day shift. The ideal candidate is fun, athletic, energetic, and a true team player who loves opportunities for advancement and enjoys a family-like work environment. The role involves inspecting products, following work instructions, and operating a single-side straight-line glass-edging machine.

Requirements

CMS, CNC, Hand Fab, or Polish Machine Operator experience
Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted
Ability to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance
Ability to push weights greater than 150lbs with a team
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager and/or Branch Manager
Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region in a non-climate-controlled facility (Heat, Cold, humidity)

Responsibilities

Inspecting product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues
Following work instructions by reading labels to expedite the production process; understanding and communicating paperwork and labels/picking list
Setting up and operating a single-side straight-line glass-edging machine to polish glass or mirror edges
