About The Position

Operates equipment to produce machined parts according to blueprints, router package specifications and/or special instructions. Understands and uses drawings, manuals, and work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Starts and observes on-going machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required. Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications. Inspects parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators. Records the piece count and run time of the production times. Verify dimensions and alignment of assembly. Checks parts for conformance to specifications using micrometers, calipers and gauges and perform SPC

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Working experience of manufacturing environment.
  • A minimum of 0-3 years related industrial machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items
