About The Position

Wayside Machine Operator Responsibilities: Motivation, i.e., helping Soundwich succeed within Job Classification Responsibilities Proficient in the use of applicable ERP System (e.g., PLEX) functions with respect to Job Classification Responsibilities Operate Manual Presses Operate Value-Add Equipment Effectively perform Quality Verifications with indicated Inspection Devices, including Visual Inspections (Master Competency Matrix, PLEX Control Plans (Checksheets) Maintain Hourly Rates set forth by Management Catch, Package, Sort, Rework Parts Understand and follow all Company Procedures pertaining to assigned tasks, and the potential consequences of departure from these Procedures Knowledge of the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, all Company Policies, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Customer requirements Knowledge of the effects that nonconforming products have on our Customers Knowledge of the Environmental Policy, Environmental Objectives, all Safety Polices, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Regulatory requirements Aware of the Quality impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Quality System and the benefits of improved personal performance Aware of the Environmental and Safety impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Environmental and Safety System and the benefits of improved personal performance Aware of how to submit Quality, Safety, Environmental and Business-related questions or suggestions, and how initiate continual improvements Other tasks deemed by Soundwich Management to be in the best interest of Soundwich and our Customers

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Stand for lengthy periods of time
  • Excellent attendance
  • Basic computer skills
  • Minimum Language Skills: English
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in the use of applicable ERP System (e.g., PLEX) functions with respect to Job Classification Responsibilities
  • Operate Manual Presses
