This role is responsible for safely operating a variety of machines, with a focus on stamping presses and hobbing as well as other equipment used in our production process.

Requirements

Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and related documentation.
Solid understanding of production equipment or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new machinery.
Strong analytical abilities and effective problem‑solving skills.
Knowledge of applicable OSHA and environmental regulations, with the ability to comply with all requirements.
High Schol Diploma or equivalent
At least one year of related experience required.
Valid Driver's Licence required.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to traverse production facility and climb ladders.
Manual dexterity for assembly and machine operation.
Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts.

Responsibilities

Accountable for daily production and quality control parts manufactured on the hobbing, forming or lockbar stamping press and simple die changes.
Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
Perform quality checks on hobbed parts and make necessary adjustments.
Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
Able to maintain required efficiency rates.
Able to set up forming and lock bar stamping tools.
General housekeeping of work area.
Observe all safety requirements.
Employee must show up to work on time and be able to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to operate forklift and pallet jack.
