See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview : As part of the talented Stuart Operations Team, the Machine Operator sets-up, operates, and maintains machinery, in our manufacturing setting. They are responsible for ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge, attention to detail, have extreme focus and accuracy
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability in using tools and machinery
  • Good understanding of quality control principles
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
  • Ability to work in a Non-A/C environment

Nice To Haves

  • At least one-year related experience preferred as a Laser or machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting
  • Some experience as a CNC Operator preferred
  • Some experience in CAD preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operation of Laser and CNC machine
  • Operation of drill presses, notcher and spot welder
  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
  • Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
  • Check output to ensure highest quality
  • Maintain equipment in good condition
  • Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all company protocols, regulations, and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned
