Machine Operator Position Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating and monitoring processing equipment to support daily production goals within PADNOS recycling operations. This role ensures equipment reliability, maintains quality standards, and upholds a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Equipment operation and preventative maintenance knowledge (conveyors, pulleys, etc)
Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Accuracy in operation and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Loader operators experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform equipment start-up and shut-down procedures in alignment with company safety standards
Operate and monitor automated and PLC-controlled equipment to achieve daily production targets
Conduct routine equipment checks to ensure proper functionality and operational readiness
Complete preventative maintenance tasks, including basic greasing and upkeep, to support equipment reliability
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Communicate equipment or safety concerns promptly to leadership or maintenance teams
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment, including end-of-shift housekeeping
Cross training in other operational areas to support team productivity and business needs
