They ensure machines run efficiently, meet production targets, and maintain high-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Must be able to work occasional overtime with short notice when required.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and are expected to complete required tasks in a timely and organized manner.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience loading and unloading CNC Horizontal Mills (preferably Mazak)
  • Mechanical work experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Produce quality parts and maintain production levels.
  • Follow company safety practices to provide a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Perform general housekeeping.
  • Follow 5S Principles: Sort: Remove unnecessary items form the work area to maintain a clutter-free environment. Set in Order: Organize tools, materials, and equipment for easy access and efficient workflow. Shine: Keep the workplace clean and tidy, ensuring machines and work areas are free of deris and hazards. Standardize: Follow established procedures to maintain consistency in 5S practices across shifts. Sustain: Participate in regular audits and training to uphold 5S standards and promote continuous improvement.
  • Report machine issues to proper individuals.
  • Change tools and make offset adjustments as needed (Lathe Operation).
  • Sort parts for defects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
