About The Position

Kaspar Outdoors is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and perform basic setups of CNC machines used in manufacturing high-quality components. This role is responsible for ensuring parts meet quality standards and that all work is performed safely and efficiently in alignment with production requirements.

Requirements

• CNC machine operation and setup experience
• Understanding of quality workmanship standards
• Blueprint reading and basic math proficiency
• Familiarity or willingness to learn Fanuc, Haas, and Mitsubishi controllers
• Strong visual inspection skills and quality-at-the-source mindset
• Clear interpersonal communication and teamwork

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Willingness to learn and operate advanced equipment

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC machines to meet production goals
• Retrieve and input data using computer commands and graphic displays
• Calculate machining parameters including feed rate, speed, tool size, and spindle location
• Store and manage layout data in computer memory for repeatable processes
• Transfer layout and part programs to storage devices
• Perform initial quality control checks on all produced parts
• Use digitizing equipment to create patterns, as needed
• Follow all safety protocols including wearing required PPE
• All other duties as assigned by management
