As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the overall operation and performance, maintaining quality, and production objectives. This position is located in High Point, NC.
Requirements
- Minimum 0 - 3 years previous machine operating or production experience in a team environment preferred.
- Average to above average mechanical ability helpful.
- Manufacturing Environment - walking, standing, bending, twisting, grasping, reaching above and below shoulder, lifting up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 70 pounds on occasion. Must wear hearing protection on the production floor.
Responsibilities
- Operate the packaging system monitoring overall performance, efficiency and quality.
- Perform equipment start-up, shut-down and preventive maintenance.
- Sample and monitor product quality coming off the system, making modifications as needed.
- Troubleshoot packaging system performance and quality problems, correcting them and stabilizing performance as they occur.
- Replenish materials ongoing as materials are depleted.
- Maintains production, efficiency and quality records related to the packaging system operation.
- Completes the production process for printed material by operating bindery/packaging equipment.
- Supports the manufacture of personal products through a continuous production operation, requiring an understanding of work methods and procedures as well as various binding machines.
