About The Position

Join a Growing Manufacturing Team! We're looking for 1st shift Machine Operators (5:30 am - 2:00 pm) Job Summary The Machine Operator operates CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. They ensure machines run efficiently, meet production targets, and maintain high-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Basic math and computer skills
Must be able to work occasional overtime with short notice when required.
Must be able to work in a team environment and are expected to complete required tasks in a timely and organized manner.
Ability to stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Nice To Haves

Experience loading and unloading CNC Horizontal Mills (preferably Mazak)
Mechanical work experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Produce quality parts and maintain production levels.
Follow company safety practices to provide a safe work environment for all employees.
Perform general housekeeping.
Follow 5S Principles: Sort: Remove unnecessary items from the work area to maintain a clutter-free environment. Set in Order: Organize tools, materials, and equipment for easy access and efficient workflow. Shine: Keep the workplace clean and tidy, ensuring machines and work areas are free of deris and hazards. Standardize: Follow established procedures to maintain consistency in 5S practices across shifts. Sustain: Participate in regular audits and training to uphold 5S standards and promote continuous improvement.
Report machine issues to proper individuals.
Change tools and make offset adjustments as needed (Lathe Operation).
Sort parts for defects as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
