Flexco, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a Machine Operator to work first shift – 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Monday through Friday. Pin Machine Operators at Flexco have a labor grade of GR8 and have a starting compensation of $19.00 or more, depending on skills, education and experience. All internal Flexco employees must be in good standing and inform their current manager before applying. Pin Machine Operator Location: Grand Rapids Department: Pin Purpose: Operating all machines and functions with the Pin Department

Requirements

  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience using hand and small power tools.
  • 0-2 years of experience in machine shop or assembly.
  • Lift 50 lbs. floor to waist occasionally.
  • Stand all day.
  • Reach less than 18 inches from midline both directions.
  • Technical Assistance is readily available for assigned work

Responsibilities

  • Processing all incoming pin orders accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Operating and maintaining all machines and equipment in the pin department
  • Inspecting parts and maintain quality control standards.
  • Writing out tags for all orders.
  • Planning and execute small projects
  • Ensuring accuracy and schedule of independent work
  • Participating in Continuous Improvement and Suggestion System as required.
