About The Position

The 1st shift Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, start-up, shut
down, operation, and product quality of meltblown extrusion lines including
extruders, sheeters, winders, embossers, bonders, etc. They hold ultimate
responsibility for the quality of the product produced and provide guidance and
leadership to the assembler packagers.

Responsibilities

• Setup machine to product specifications including extruder, winder, sheeter, bonder, embosser, etc.
• Operate a single meltblown production line; understanding the controls and operation of the machines.
• Effectively troubleshoot defects or out of specification products.
• Comprehend and adhere to equipment and product specifications
• Perform quality checks on finished goods.
• Setting up boxes or bags for the production run and packaging meltblown product into boxes/bags.
• Keeping the line clean and free of waste.
• Cross train on other meltblown lines or other departments
