About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator- 1st Shift at our Reno, NV facility! The core hours are 5:45am to 2:15pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Requirements

No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of the Reno, NV facility will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Ability to operate machinery and presses safely.
Ability to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings.
Ability to identify different gauges and types of raw material
Ability to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
Ability to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision.
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
Able to regularly lift 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of six (6) months of experience with forming or bending machines.
Minimum of six (6) months of experience reading drawings or blueprints.
Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.

Responsibilities

Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses.
Troubleshoot various machinery problems.
Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders.
Quality control and document all parts run on machines.
Retrieve and enter data into SAP.
Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production.
Maintain a clean work area and tend to other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
