Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read spec cards and follow standard work instructions.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machines.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new computer software.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift .
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 18 months working experience in a factory environment
  • Must possess proficient communication skills in the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and decimal addition and subtraction.
  • Must possess ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 of an inch.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand and twist over a long periods of time.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and motivational skills.
  • Ability to maintain diplomacy, confidentiality and tact essential, as individual has access to high levels of cost, design and company sensitive materials.
  • Must be able to work with frequently changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with equipment such as Small Trimmer, Slotter, or Brause Die Cutter is a plus - but we're willing to train motivated individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and adjust machinery to meet daily production goals.
  • Ensure finished products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary machine adjustments.
  • Complete daily production schedules on time and cost-effectively.
  • Perform and document ISO quality checks.
  • Train and support new team members.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Follow all safety and quality programs.
