About The Position

We are looking for a 2nd shift Machine operator in our Thermoforming Process. The starting pay rate for this position is $19.62 per hour. There is an additional 10% shift differential for working our 2nd shift. The starting rate for this position is $21.58 per hour.

A day in the life of a Machine Operator/Thermoforming at Gemini includes:
Forming Letters by placing sheet plastic in a vacuum machine, activating the machine and removing the formed letters.
Reviews production orders to assure requirements of the job.
Locates correct letters and places the molds on a press plate ensuring most effective utilization of material.
Placing correct sheet on the press and heating to proper temperate, monitoring heat regularly during the forming process.
After forming, removes molds, cuts out letters ensuring quality control per the work order then transports to next team for further processing.
Inspects condition of molds and equipment, ensuring proper storage.
The work environment is clean, bright, and hot around equipment.
