Machine Operator - Full Time
About The Position
Stoltzfus Meats is seeking a Machine Operator to support daily manufacturing operations at our Gordonville production facility. This role is responsible for operating production equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring products meet company standards for quality, consistency, and food safety. The Machine Operator plays an important role in maintaining production flow by monitoring equipment performance, assisting with setup and changeovers, and supporting the production team. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Manufacturing or food production experience preferred but not required
- Mechanical aptitude helpful
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn production equipment and processes
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in refrigerated production environments
- Ability to perform repetitive production tasks
- Ability to safely operate production equipment

Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery according to company procedures
- Monitor equipment performance and product quality
- Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and basic changeovers

- Communicate equipment or production issues to the Production Supervisor
- Assist with product handling and movement between production stages
- Support production team members as needed
- Promote safe equipment operation and workplace practices
