About The Position

Responsibilities and Duties: Must have experience using plasma and oxygen fuel. Knowledge of operation the operation of a CNC machine Follow safe operating and lifting procedures for overhead cranes Operate forklifts according to safe operating procedures Bring in and remove various sizes, thickness and shapes of steel parts. Maintains safe operations of all machines by adhering to company and OSHA safety policies and procedures. Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements Monitor the machine to ensure that it is running at maximum performance Detect and report all machine malfunctions Documents actions by completing production and quality logs Adjust machine as needed Other duties as assigned

Requirements

One (1) year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but will train if necessary
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, write and follow written and verbal instructions.
Possess basic computer skills
Accurately read a tape line
High School diploma/GED required

Nice To Haves

Experience using hand-measurement tools is preferred
Experience operating CNC machines is preferred
