The Machine Operator operates the CNC machine to cut and build rollers, sets up and operates a variety of machines. Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures. Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year of related experience
Ability to use a band saw, hand tools and calipers and perform milling, turning, drilling, taping, deburring, molding, and all bench operations
Ability to read blueprints
Basic math skills
Knowledge of standard and metric measurements
Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Team orientation
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Must be able to read exact measurements on a tape measure without assistance!

Responsibilities

Measuring and setting up machines to manufacture a high volume of parts
Performing machine shop and mold press operations to support Assembly
Detecting defective materials and questionable conditions and reports to the manager
Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition
Following safety regulations
Performing preventative maintenance on machines
